Let me introduce you to Jacksons Restaurant + Bar Monaca, a laid-back restaurant that locals love for its easygoing energy and dependable food-and-drink lineup in Monaca, Pennsylvania. Sitting at 2002 Wagner Rd Ext S, Monaca, PA 15061, this spot feels like the kind of place you can drop into after work, bring friends for the weekend, or settle in for a relaxed dinner without any fuss. The vibe is casual but polished, and the space works just as well for a quick bite as it does for lingering over cocktails. One thing people appreciate right away is the flexibility-whether you prefer dine-in service, takeaway, delivery, or even no-contact delivery, Jacksons Restaurant + Bar Monaca makes it simple to enjoy the menu on your own terms. On warmer days, outdoor seating adds an extra layer of comfort, especially if you’re stopping by for happy-hour food and drinks. The offerings lean into crowd-pleasing comfort food while still leaving room for balance, with healthy options alongside vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes. Small plates make sharing easy, while a private dining room gives groups a more personal setting when needed. Behind the bar, you’ll find a solid selection of alcohol, including beer, wine, spirits, and well-made cocktails that pair naturally with the food. Coffee is also on hand, which is a nice touch if you’re easing into the evening or meeting someone for a casual chat. I like how the restaurant balances familiarity with variety, so regulars can stick with favorites while newcomers explore something new each visit. Happy-hour specials encourage people to mingle, and the atmosphere stays upbeat without feeling noisy or rushed. Service feels attentive but relaxed, which makes long conversations easier and quick meals efficient. It’s the sort of neighborhood restaurant that quietly earns repeat visits.

We had a delicious dinner and the server was great! The honey glaze chicken was very flavorful and the salmon was cooked perfect. To finish it all off, the dessert couldn't have been better. The atmosphere was great and the place is very clean. It wasn't overly crowded. We were seated right away. The whole meal with drinks and dessert was $120 and that included a 20% tip. Definitely worth stopping by and trying it out!
I was there on a night that was quite busy. Service was exceptionally slow. Our server was very nice, but I think she must’ve been new. Our reservation was at 7:15. We arrived on time but 9:05 we still did not have our food. It took us a very long time to get our initial beverages and to get our order in. Our food came out slow slowly one plate at a time, which is unacceptable when eating with eight people. We seated in an overflow banquet room that was quite chilly. 66° I had cold air blowing on me from event just above me. I asked as soon as I arrive to please make it warmer in the room. This never happened even though I asked repeatedly. I wore my coat throughout dinner. The food was average though presented well. I did like the fried brussels sprouts.
Surprising great! We just stop overnight here at the hotel on the way from D.C. to Chicago, and didn’t expect a lot besides of any cities here, just to bite something after the ride. This restaurant is like a pearl in the middle of nowhere (sorry if someone feels offended) and we are happy to have stopped here. Our experience was great! I wasn’t very hungry so I ordered two starters instead of a “full” dish - one too much! The portion are really good and much bigger than expected. My husband took the filet mignon only and it was enough for him. My tuna tartar as well as the pumpkin salat was fine presented on plate, had an intensive fresh aroma and tasted delicious even if I would never combine tuna & sweet papers, but it works good! The house wine was good enough and with 8€ a nice offer. All in one - we appreciated the meal, the service, the modern design and the wine and we clear recommend this place! Our warmest thanks to the cooking & service team
